EDIT - December 1: Affiliation is open, though there is no set amount of spots that have to be filled and no deadline. If sites apply that I like, I’ll add them and that’s that. There are a few sites I’m considering applying to but I think I’ll wait to see who applies/is interested first. //

I planned on pruning out old submissions for the redesign that weren’t up to standard anymore, so I went ahead and did that. I ended up cutting out 364 submissions, 84 of which were my own. The only ones I cut that I still really liked were some in the Designs/Layout section; the ones cut there were removed because they were coded with tables or frames. I also completely removed the Wallpapers section.

November 19th, 2008 : Switching Servers

My host sent me an email this morning stating that sometime after 72 hours has past (but possibly longer than that), my account would be switching servers. So, this is what you need to know.

Visitors

• My site might be down during the process. It might, it might not. If it is, know that I have no control over it and it will be back as soon as they bring it back. I’m not going anywhere, though.

Hostees

• Your sites might go down. I have no control over this.
• Copied from email: “You should also check any configuration files you have for your websites
  to make sure they don’t don’t have anything like “/home/.SOMETHING/username”
  in them. Instead, it should just be “/home/username”.
• They said that nothing should happen to effect us, but I will be making backups of my files and databases. If you’re super-cautious like I am, you might want to as well. I will not be making any backups for hostees.If you comment requesting a backup by Friday at noon (US Eastern time), I’ll email you one automatically generated by my host.
• If there are any issues that I discover as a result of this that directly effect you, I will email you all to keep you updated.
